There are three.
- Blitz
- Quick (Rapid)
- Regular
Why would anyone want to cheat, is beyond me? Cheating shows lack of self-confidence and self-esteem.
I do not see the gain in cheating. The effort to cheat can be deployed to gain excellence instead.
@Martin_Stahl
Are the online pairings automatic after we finish a game? I am very new to this. How does the system know when we are finished analyzing?
I did not see how to get out of analysis mode.

The live tournaments automatically pair a round shortly after the last game in the previous round completes.
If you're not in the interface when the round pairs, you won't be paired. It's best to wait until the event is over to analyze.
Did the Saturday series start already? If so what week are we on? Can we join any saturday?
Every Saturday there is an event and the time controls are based on which Saturday of the month it is. For example, this week is the first Saturday so it's 10|0
USCF Friday Rapid:
Updated the first post to change the number of rounds to 5
What is the maximum number of players who can join and play in given tournament here on members only? 🤔
So you mean we can actually get Uscf rating online? That's like the only rating you can get online that is real
US Chess official Online rating.
Is it the same exact rating as OTB live event?
This title page needs to be updated----the Monday "Blitz" Tournament (3pm Pacific time), with 10/0 time control, is now a **Rapid** time control (as of a few years ago, as per Chess.com), so every time I get an email claiming "U1450 Blitz tournament getting ready to start", it turns out to be a RAPID tournament instead...!!!...🙄🙄🙄🙄

It's US Chess Blitz, Chess.com Rapid. For the U1450 section Zi manually name it as Blitz as that's really which rating will change for US Chess purposes.
The open section is automatically scheduled so it's name is rapid.
@Martin_Stahl

Events happen every Saturday but don't get scheduled until late Friday or early Saturday mornings.
Has something happened to the email notices about pending tournaments? I used to get emails every Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday regarding various online USCF-rated tournaments that were to begin an hour after the email was sent...but I haven't gitten these emails in a while! I checked my Notifications and everything seems to be in order, so why no emails??
how long before we see results on USCF?
On average, 7-10 days but can sometimes take longer.
