Tournament

Since the new tournament feature is up and running, seems to me that our club should host an Upstate Tournament and crown our champion.  Any thoughts on format?  How many people should we invite?  Who do you want me to invite besides us?

BrassMicroscope is the only guy I've met so far.

I would say we should do a 6 game (not all at once) tournament progressive round-robin.  It will take a while, but it should produce a winner and not dominate my entire life like that 1st tourney I entered....lol.

Well, the club is us and one other guy.  Don't forget about BrunZone.  I've got a couple invites out there too.  I'm sure the floodgates will open any moment ...

OK, the tournament is setup.  It starts on March 7th.  Its called the Upstate Open.  Don't forget to sign up.

Edit: Is this an online tourney? I can't find where to sign up. I typed in the name of the tourney on the event search and no luck. Sorry to be slow at this but click on here only to make a move and haven't explored much more than that. Where do I go to sign up? 

No problem Alex.  Yes, it is an online tournament.  Go to the top left portion of the screen marked "play."  Second option down from the top is the "online tournament" button.  click that.  Our tournament is listed in the upcoming tournament section as scheduled to begin on March 7th.  Sign up soon so you don't miss it.

Yes, my schedule is so random that I didn't get to log on and read this until now. Looks like I just missed the sign-up time.

Sorry Alex.  We'll do another tournament as soon as this one is over.  I learned a few things from setting this one up.  The next one will be a better format.

Alright. I think an online tourney would be fun, as long as I'm not rushed into making moves!!!
