TPOEA program:endgame section

this is a game that took place between Capablanca-Tartakower ,New York,1924 .In this game,white sacrifices 2 pawns and uses blacks own f-pawn to guard itself from the black rook's  checks       ,                                           Fisher-Bisguier,   New                                                   York,1958-59 .Hiding behind pieces(including the enemy's  is the obvious way to find shelter from checks by the rook.    (check movelist in the first diagram)
