what programs outside of chess.com do you use. Let people. Maybe you got a tip for them. I'm liking aimchess.

I use Levy's programs. I use Youtube for openings and strategy and follow along with my own board.
Love Saint Lewis Chess Club's channel!
And books... many by Bobby Fischer, Alekhine, Capaplanca, Kasperov, etc.
Plus some tactics/work books too. Like 1001 beginner puzzles. Actually kind of hard if you're 1000 and under with your rating.
PS- I like Bobby Fischer to start. Many of his books have a lot of puzzles in them with tactics. Not so many game reviews.

I read boby fisher teaches chess. That little 100 page book. Just puzzles and theory. It was good. Cheesly. Levey's new site. I think there is some good stuff there. I downloaded chessquid. But I hate the color layout and you can't change it. Saint Lewes never heard of. Then of course Cramling has lots of cool videos for a turn check list.

You should check them out! https://www.youtube.com/@STLChessClub

Fore sure liking Aimchess so for far. Really is good. So many on the puzzles you have to solve come from your own games. The things you really need to work on.

I looked at teh STL video list. Looks very good and organized. Easy to find things you want to work on. Good stuff.
