Of course pawns don't transform either.
Transformative Chess. New Variant Idea.

wow, hyperbullet would be insane if those rules were implemented.
Lol
True

I had an idea about a variant including a fairy piece that would protect all pieces around it from capture (except the king of course). The piece could not move and its position would be chosen by the players at the beginning of the game in their camps (line 1, 2, 3 and 4 for white and 5, 6, 7 and 8 for black).
What do you think of this ?

yes I did but someone told me about a piece that looked like this, if you want to see, go to : New variant idea - Forums d’échecs - Chess.com
You can join this club if you would like to see this idea become a reality.
If I get enough support for a new website I will start development on it.

Rook Bishop and knight transform every turn (initial positions are same).
Let me explain further.
In order to castle you must have your original rook be transformed back to rook and have necessary open space like in regular chess.
The King and Queen never transform and remain the same through the game.
Every turn you take a move, then all of Your rooks, bishops and knights instantly transform into a different piece (the next piece in the rotation). Play continues from there. Rotation cycle is as follows (Rook->Bishop, Bishop->Knight, and Knight->Rook). The cycle never stops and is not optional but mandatory transforms.
If possible not only 2 player chess but 4 player chess ffa, solo and teams please!!!
