Translation fixation or fixing eyes on JESUS?
There are good translations, and there are bad translations, of this none can refute.
Yet there is not one translation alone that any man may claim is the one soley Given Of GOD To man.
And of all translations there is ONE WHO Is Perfect In Translating, Giving The Understanding Of The Word Of The Living GOD To man; GOD Through HIS HOLY SPIRIT.
What Is Given Of GOD Is Understood through GOD Alone. The flesh cannot understand Spiritual matters. As what Is Given Of GOD Is Spiritual, The Holy Scriptures, Eternal Life, so Comes The Understanding Of What Is Given Of GOD, through The SPIRIT ( 1 Corinthians 2:12-16 ).
So one cannot know whether what he reads is Of GOD, In Truth, apart from GOD Giving To him that essential Knowledge. A man will teach what a man will teach, but GOD Can Only Teach Truth. And if any claim that the translation they use is the only one that all others should adhere to, then so very sadly, they are speaking from themselves, from the teaching of mere man.
Of course, when speaking of translations, i am speaking of anything that is a copy of the original Scriptures of thousands of years ago rendered into the many languages of the world we have today: a translation.
When The LORD our GOD Speaks, "Go into all the world and preach The Gospel to all Creation., there is no instruction that all Creation, so that they may hear The Truth Of The Gospel, will both speak and understand the same earthly language, is there? Or where is it said that those who only speak one particular language of men are given The True Scriptures that they may hear to be Saved? Afterall, only The Truth Saves To Eternal Life, and no lie is of The Truth.
Yet there is One Language for us all; That Of CHRIST; That all peoples and nations might serve HIM,
But all thanks be to GOD, WHO Always Leads us in HIS Triumph In CHRIST, And Manifests through us The Sweet Aroma Of The Knowledge Of HIM in every place. For we are ( to be )A Fragrance Of CHRIST to GOD among those who are being Saved and among those who are perishing; to the one An Aroma from death to death, to the other An Aroma from life to Life. And who is adequate for these things? ( See 2 Corinthians 3:2-6 ) For we are not ( to be ) like many, peddling ( corrupting ) The Word Of GOD, but as From Sincerity, but as From GOD, we speak In CHRIST In The Sight Of GOD. 2 Corinthians 2:14-17.
Yes, all thanks and praise be to GOD, that The Truth Is JESUS CHRIST; The Way, And The Truth, And The Life. And that By Grace through The faith that is in The LORD JESUS HE Gives To us HIS HOLY SPIRIT that we may Understand The Mystery, The Hidden Wisdom Which GOD Predestined before the ages to our Glory, that we may Live, Conformed To The Image Of HIS Beloved SON.
The Sanctifying Work Of The HOLY SPIRIT, By Grace through faith in The SON Of GOD that we may Understand and obey, this Saves To Eternal Life. Not the preaching of a particular translation.
Test yourselves if you are in The faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that JESUS CHRIST Is in you - unless indeed you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5.
Time is short and the days are evil. Take heed and Understand what The Will Of The LORD Is.
We are to preach JESUS CHRIST, and HIM crucified; The Glorious Gospel Of The Blessed GOD, we are not to be contentious, self-willed, speaking in worldly wisdom, speaking that which causes division. We are to die to the flesh. We are to speak in CHRIST In The Sight Of GOD.
GOD Is True, and man is a liar. If any determine to make a point of any matters pertaining to GOD, then let him show it from The Word Of GOD, HIS Infallible Word.
Our teaching is to be The Apostles teaching. What we do not see contained in Scripture, then, as children Of GOD it is not to deem it worthy of consideration.
And, in the fear of GOD, let any man be mindful that we shall all give account to GOD on that Great And Terrible Day. Let us humble ourselves, let GOD'S Light Shine on what we shall make such confident assertions about, that all may know the spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.
