Trolly problem
There are 2 tracks to a train that is coming. Tied to one track is 1000 kids and tied to the other is a man with the cure for cancer. You can pull the lever to save the man and kill the kids or leave the lever the way it is and save the kids but kill the man.
like, is the cure somewhere where only the man can access?
yes, and he is only willing to use it on his own free will

Isn't this one of those morally ambivalent problems, whereby you lose whichever choice you choose?
Okay, so I have to choose. Then, if I have to choose in this absurd scenario, I think that the cure for cancer would over the longer term save more lives than would be lost in the accident. Therefore, as horrific as it sounds and as horrific as it is, I would kill the kids to save the cure.
I am possibly monster and will accept appropriate censure from the group.
