Let's turn up the heatCool.Do you think that UFOs are real or you think that they serve as deception and they are some kind of top secret experiments done by the government of the US??????Give reasons!

strangequark

IDK too much about it, but it appears to be an easier question than the God forum. I won't debate here.

grandmaster56

This goes along with every other myth of whatever else we think is out there in space. I haven't seen anything like this with my own eyes, so I don't believe anything like that exists.

KairavJoshi
I believe: fact unless the russian or us gov't is experimenting. I have sen a UFO...
Ripper89

I ask the question in a different way:

Are they aliens or are those flying saucers man-made?

KairavJoshi
hmm I'd say 51% aliens 49% man made
Elroch

Yes, there are definitely flying objects that are unidentified. Often they are identified later, though.

Because they’re stationary and have a smooth, saucerlike shape, lenticular clouds are often reported as UFOs. These photos were taken in New Hampshire (above) and New Mexico (below).  I'm convinced that explains the majority of UFO sightings.

Off Topic Trivia:

UFO TOFU is a palindrome.

I'd be willing to hear KJ's story even if I think it's totally bogus. Pawn slayer, do you happen to remember a very long pallindrome?

Math_magician

madam, im adam

I think I've read another longer one about fish oil before but I enjoy them all.

Lyrics to Weird Al's Bob:

I, man, am regal a German am I
Never odd or even
If I had a hi-fi
Madam, I'm Adam
Too hot to hoot
No lemons, no melon
Too bad I hid a boot
Lisa Bonet ate no basil
Warsaw was raw
Was it a car or a cat I saw?

Rise to vote, sir
Do geese see God?
"Do nine men interpret?" "Nine men," I nod
Rats live on no evil star
Won't lovers revolt now?
Race fast, safe car
Pa's a sap
Ma is as selfless as I am
May a moody baby doom a yam?

Ah Satan sees Natasha
No devil lived on
Lonely Tylenol
Not a banana baton
No "x" in "Nixon"
O, stone, be not so
O Geronimo, no minor ego
"Naomi", I moan
"A Toyota's a Toyota"   <---------- My favorite line
A dog, a panic in a pagoda

Oh, no! Don Ho!
Nurse, I spy gypsies -- run!
Senile felines
Now I see bees I won
UFO tofu
We panic in a pew
Oozy rat in a sanitary zoo
God! A red nugget! A fat egg under a dog!
Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog

All lines are palindromes

Haven't really got around to checking it, but I'll take their word for it.

My experience: (It was a UFO – either some gov’t made object or an actual flying saucer.) We went to Pizza Hut (or Taco Bell… not sure) for dinner at like 7ish … came back home like 45 min after. My dad asked me to water the plants before we play chess at night. I said ok and then started watering the plants outside (It was dark – winter’s night) All of a sudden, I saw a little flash in the sky… from the south. I looked there and then saw a thing… couldn’t see clearly as it was dark but I did see that it had flashing green and red lights. It seemed something circular and perhaps made out of glass. It came down and paused for a few seconds… by down I mean about 100 feet off the ground… Then at extreme speed, it went up and then headed on North… within 3 – 4 seconds it was out of site. No, it was not a cloud lol… nor a plane/helicopter etc… It could be some weird satellite but why would a satellite come down and pause for a few seconds… Well that’s the truth – believe it or not. The question in my mind it was it an alien or some manmade object…

Personally I believe that we are all fools to think that humankind has explored even 1% of the entire galaxy and if we have barely explored that much then how can anyone be ignorant enough to say that there aren't any beings out there that are much more advanced than we are??

Hi JamesBond, it is a pleasure to see you in our forums. As to faster than light travel this cannot be done ordinarily because what we were accelerating would have infinite mass. Tachyons are also not regarded as real particles...so of course that just leaves us with stable wormholes that JamesBond is alluding to.

KJ, it was interesting to hear your experience. I will not argue against it.

I write a lot of stories and poems and I would go as far to say as 95% of all my works have been based somewhat on real life ...if not the words themselves then the feelings behind them ...

I have never seen any aliens but I do believe ... and one story I wrote (only 10 pages long) was based not on absolute reality but more on feelings and surrounded itself wholly around aliens and witches ...

pawn_slayer666

I just have one question, if you can answer this yes, and justify your answer, I'll be convinced that Alien life exists.  Is a circular disc shape more practical than the conical shape we use for our rocket ships?

Given the ships seen in movies, I have never figured out how exactly a circular ship would go about moving.

I never knew you wrote stories and poems, firestorm. I think some of us may be interested in the future (I am now at least).

Nice. In particular your insertion of humor stuck out a little bit but for some reason, it went along well:

"So I can bloody see"
