There are certain lines in the King's Gambit that involve a knight sacrifice - you may like it.
From here, the black king takes the knight, and after white's Bc4 and Qxg4, it is a very sharp position. I'd like to play this sometime (unrated games 
), but unfortunately not many people know the opening theory that far.

I'm relatively new to these unorthodox openings and I was wondering if I could get a little help with with choosing which ones to start with - by no means do I want beginner openings because I'm getting started, I wouldn't mind challenging my self with the ultra difficult ones..
Anyway, I suppose I'm looking for openings that are extremely unorthodox, very rare and unconventional that completely throw the person i'm playing out of the book yet still quite strong.
oh and one that last in longer gameplay situations??
