Ever wanted to join a Titled Tuesday tournament but didn't have a title? Untitled Tuesday is the next best thing! We run a weekly live blitz tournament following a similar format.
To join, you must have been on the site for three months or more. Titled players will not be admitted!
We will run a weekly blitz tournament every Tuesday. We alternate between8:00 AMand 3:30 PM Pacific Time.
Additionally, on the Saturday following the first Tuesday of the month, we run an extra event. This rotates between13:00 UTC, 17:00 UTC, and 21:00 UTC. We occasionally run additional bonus events. All top finishers in our regular events score points towards an annual leaderboard.
Unless otherwise specified, all events haveten rounds and use a time control of three minutes with one second of increment.
Games will be monitored for fair play violations. Suspected cheaters will be reported to chess.com's fair play team for review. Note: we cannot reverse the results of games retroactively.
If you earn an official title recognised by chess.com in OTB play, you are eligible for the official Titled Tuesday tournament. You will therefore be removed from this group and no longer be permitted to play in Untitled Tuesday events. Sorry, but you're now too good for us.
