Pending adjustments, we have secured a first round playoff bye in the 2021 LCPAL Rapid Cup (standings: https://lcpal.tk/)! This means we will have two weeks off before we meet the winner of Brazil vs Mexico in the semifinals.
I'll give us next weekend off (Jan 1-2) but will try to schedule a friendly match for the weekend after (Jan 8-9) before our semifinal match (Jan 15-16). Enjoy the rest of your 2021!
I had a tough time finding a friendly opponent for this weekend, so in lieu of that we will be having our own internal warm up tournament on Sunday at 1 pm Pacific, 4 pm Eastern. It'll be 4 rounds of 10+2 rapid, the same time control that next weekend's LCPAL Rapid Cup Semifinal will be at. Tournament time and link:
