Why do you support the confederacy (even though its sort of obvious by your name)?
I don't believe the Union had the right to attack the Confederacy.
Nor Do I... The secession was founded in goodly law.

Slavery was irrelevant. The war had nothing to do with it.
The war had nothing to do with it until supposedly 1863 with the emancipation proclamation. However the EP was hypocritical in the fact that it was only supposed to free slaves in the states in " rebellion" not in border states like Maryland where this proclamation could actually be legitamitly enforced.
I totally agree with you there,where lincoln could've freed slaves he didnt.Instead he decided to say that all slaves that were (incidentally) not under his countrys legal jurisdiction were free.
Also he did not issue the EP until he got his army whipped at Fredricksburg which leads me to believe he was trying to incite a slave rebellion to distract the South. That did not work as we see at Chancellorsville.
The international standpoint must also be considered.At this time most major nations such as Great Britain and France had outlawed slavery.The making it easy for Lincoln to gain international support by issuing the Emacipation Proclamation.

the only reason VA signed the constution was under the condition that they kept the right to secede at any time.so lincoln broke federal law when he invaded VA.Ha!!
Texas also reserved,and still does reserve the right to secede at any time.
I wish it had that right but if it was taken away once it can be taken again.

I think that if the confederates had just used guerilla tactics that have proved themselves so effective in history,they could have prolonged the war,costing more union lives and effectively shutting down lincoln
