How can we gain USCF Rating online? Is it the same value of OTB Rating?

Can anyone explain it?

You can get a uscf online rating by playing in the events in this club. They have no value, you cannot earn titles and norms from them.

@pineapplepro123 is correct. If you play the scheduled events in the club you will be rated against the US Chess Online rating pools. You only can get an OTB rating by playing in person rated chess.

then what is the benefit to gain online uscf rating? zero value? on Fide online arena there is a chance to achieve official fide online rating which is shown in the fide profile.  is there any option for uscf as like same as fide|?

Yes.

The USCF Rating costs significant money. A Premium Adult Membership costs $49 for one whole year. Regular Adult costs $40. Premium Young costs $35.

It is recommended that you get it because that way you get a years worth of playing in the event that you need to practice in and perform in.

It represents and is the OTB rating actually, however, if it costs too much for the membership it's okay you don't get it.

Answering your question, yes, OTB rating membership is over-the-board however as you know it's online now. The switch to online was made to comply with COVID-19 requirements which you already know too has been widely implemented in the US in an attempt to limit the spread.

Regardless, OTB is not actually online which is why there are misperceptions that they are the exact same thing.

Fortunately for those in the United States, the USCF administrators decided to allow USCF OTB members to receive online ratings in exchange for their loyalty if they paid for membership.

It's an official rating from a national federation and shows in the player's US Chess profile.

Is there no USCF online rating shown in the user's profile?

The ratings gained are official US Chess ratings. There are 3 Online rating pools, separate from the OTB rating pools.

The events in this club affects uscf online blitz and uscf online quick categories. You cannot increase your otb rating online.

Ok, thanks for your help.

To add additional information, they do show up on your MSA profile as well.
