RULES:
A cube says what piece you'll move.

what do u think

If the cube says the king move and the king cannot move, it's a lose.

If the cube says some piece that cannot move, it's a ''passed move''.

I think it would remove most of the strategy from the game. The main part of chess is anticipating and responding to opponents moves. If you remove that element the game depends too much on chance. A similar game is "No Stress Chess" which depends are drawn cards to move pieces. The name does not reflect on play...

Well, at least there would be some luck added to chess.... happy.png

My whole point is chess shouldn't be about luck. It is a strategy game.

Er, tht removes the object of chess:  Use strategy to win the game.

-1 for chance (I'm a Murphy's Law magnet - just trust me). How about something more unique: https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/transformative-chess-new-variant-idea
