Variant Suggestion Rock-Paper-Scissors II

Play 4 mate, and in the case of stalemate the remaining players share the points.  Other than what I mentioned and the position in the picture the rules would be the same as in 3-player.

too much teaming

How would this variant have teaming when each player can only be checkmated by one other player?

Please explain this in greater detail. I don't understand anything.

ive played the original rpc variant before and didnt like it much, but this seems like a pretty neat spin off, i would try playing this if it came to be
