If a customized setup closely resembles the original version, it should be presented in a manner that effectively attracts potential players. Possibly use variant logo or fitting text.

Probably not, because it would be complicated.

Capture the ball with a piece, but it has to kick next turn in the movement range of the piece that captured the ball. Also, checking is forbidden, so is checkmate.

Genuine suggestion: Make restricted crazyhouse an unbugged mechanic. The current method of making restricted crazyhouse (dead pieces in crazyhouse bank or promotedFrom transparent brick) can confuse new players.

Could anyone please review this idea that I have?
