Variants Server Suggestions [Post-4PC Merge]

Please add the new variant I've come up with, Goose Chess. The Goose itself can be a variant of the duck like how the chariot is a variant of the rook. The Egg would probably be a new piece.

I would love to have Chaturanga arenas or Swiss tournaments!

Maybe we are not so many playing Chaturanga but we are much passionate and we "need" tournaments.

Improvement to XXL Chess:

Like other variants, you should be allowed to promote to the same pieces that are not kings or pawns that start on the board. 8th=Q can make it dangerously easy to promote. With 14th=AEHRBMNC, you have a harder task promoting, so games don’t quite get too powerful for one side.

I know that, on the other hand, 8th=Q may make penetrating faster to end games quicker. That is true, but the promotion still doesn’t quite align with the pieces on the board. In fact, points for queens can be a bit misleading anyway (they are about 9-10 points, not 1).

I have no kick against change as long as the change is for BETTER.  But if, for example,  now I can't see open challenges from other users like I did before, I would not call that an improvement, I'm afraid.  Please do something about that, dear admins.

Not sure, how to post a video here, but here are the screenshots.  The challenges from users should be on the bottom right, but I can only see my own challenge if I create one.  I checked the settings on the bottom left - the challenges from everyone are switched on.  So what am I missing I don't know...

You need to click on the "Lobby" tab.

Could you please make it possible to play 30+ min/correspondence in XXL chess and other variants?  For instance, I really like XXL, but it would be easier for me to play nice and slow until I develop good tactics and strategies there.  Thanks.
