Videos on iPhone/iTouch

I haven't bought an iTouch yet, but am going to.

Just a question: is there any way in which you can get videos from a DVD on to iTunes?  If so, how?

Your best bet is to search for instructions online, which will probably do much more for you then one of us trying to type out an explanation.

I use a combination of DVD43 and Handbrake to rip and transcode the DVD, then in iTunes you need to import the movie. File->import file (or something to that effect).  Then just set it up to sync to your iPod Touch. 

Download MacTheRipper to rip the DVD and then use Handbrake to convert files to view in iTunes (use iPhone/iPod touch settings in Handbrake to create smaller size file - normally around 500Mb).
