Villagers chess I and II

Got some questions about the rules here, because the rule description provided doesn't cover everything.

1.  Is the royal pawn promotable?  If yes, what does it promote to?

2.  What is meant  by general in the villagers chess II?  King+knight? And what does the piece called hawk do?

What does the royal pawn promote to?  Same as the non-royal ones in the 2nd row and sergeants in the 1st?

And what is that queer piece next to one of the knight in villagers II version? Is it the chaturanga ferz? Really, the rule description there leaves many questions unanswered.

Almost.  The piece, that is  marked in red on the screenshot, what does it do?

That’s a ferz, it moves one square diagonally in any direction
