Yeah. He's actually my favourite player. There are some people who are almost that close to my heart, but Nodirbek is the #1!
Here we go again. Today we are going to see a battle between two Super GM's. The Filipino-American grandmaster, Wesley So who was the youngest player to cross the 2600 rating range will take on the Uzbek wonderkid Nodirbek Abdusattorov who won the 2021 Rapid Chess Championship, by beating Magnus Carlsen, and won the 44th Chess Olympiad with Uzbekiszan, while playing on the first board. He did both when 17 years old, becoming the youngest player ever to do so.
They played already 41 times. Wesley won 16 times, Nodirbek won 15 times, and 10 games ended in a draw.
