Thank you so much sir for the nice article. Even I did not have any idea about Vote Chess and tried to cast a vote on Anand Vs The World game which is recently been played and came up with a draw. But may be I am unfortunate that I could not Cast any Vote because I did not recieve any notification. Just I got the message that the game has started and when visited on the relevant link,I saw that it was over. Morever,I use to login to chess.com daily at least for 4 hours.May be next time I will be benefited from Vote Chess. Thank you again for encouraging all the players,sir.

For those interested, you can join India's VC matches in World Cup gainst Canada, Norway and Iran and see how members discuss and vote only after discussion after agreement / clearance to vote. We are hoping to make it to final now and take tricolour on top of the world. It is team work and as Saptarshi says, all members must take part in discussion while vote as late as possible
Many people are still missing the concept of vote chess. It is not just to look at the board and cast your vote...... The idea is to communicate with YOUR team, why you want to vote on a move, and either get others to agree with your choice, or encourage them to show you why their choice is better...... At the very least, just read the team comments people are making about your move choice and other potential moves. Please wait until the last possible moment in your schedule to actually cast your vote..... You will often find that where you anticipated moving, is not where you would have moved had you thought about it more..... I know we have all made moves in our individual games that we wish we would not have made upon further reflection. Perhaps, by playing vote chess we can improve our individual chess vision so we make better decisions in our own games.
Remember, vote chess is played as a team game. If you are not planning on reading and/or participating in the team comments, why bother being on a vote chess team? Just play your individual games, and/or participate in our team match play tournaments where you alone are playing the game and matching wits with your opponent...... However, play vote chess in order to learn why others that see the same board you are seeing, will make different decisions.....
Vote Chess is an opportunity to help each other improve their individual game, while we play and try to win together as a team. I hope more people in our group will try some vote chess games, think as a team, and see how rewarding and fun it can be.
