Just in case anyone's wondering about Matt's rating: despite what the numbers here show, he's a very solid 2100+ player and I fully expect him to become a master soon. Heck, he outscored our GM this week!
Week 2 was obviously pretty disastrous for us. The play wasn't as lopsided as the score would suggest, but Seattle clearly had the better team this week and deserved their win. Next week we get FM Breckenridge into our lineup for the first time, and that should give us a noticeable boost in performance. He was traveling and unavailable for our first two matches, but should be able to play for us through the rest of the season.
