i am skyler tunc and im bad at chess wbu
Welcome!

I'm Paul and I got 71 points out of 100 on questions 11-20 on the Chess Exam book putting my rating at 2155. NBD.

Hi I am Dennis. I have played chess for several years. I do better at daily chess than live/OTB. I am always rusty and prone to blunders. Work dictates how much time I can devote to chess.

Hi, I'm Mike. The slower the time control, the higher my rating. Haven't played OTB in years but would like to again if I can find the time to prepare properly.

Hello, I am Accurate Potato and I like chess and math, which is why this project is really interesting to me.

Hello I'm Keith and fairly new to chess. Very interested in the learning process. Chess is a great challenge that is ongoing. I've created a YouTube channel (Chess Folly - link below) to track my progress and share the experience of a newbie. Maybe some of you can relate to what I'm going through. Best of luck to everyone on their chess journeys.

I'm Alain and fairly new to kind of "serious" learning. I started playing at my local club 2 1/2 years ago. Learned as a kid but not playing after. I'm retired so I have a lot of time to learn and play. (English as a second langage).

OK. It seems we have all been requested to introduce ourselves.
I'm from the United States.
I have had chess boards set up and ready to play somewhere in my home for the last 40 years or so but rarely ever played.
This past week, for rather odd reasons I'll not elaborate on now, I felt led to apply myself to chess and see where it would take me.
I have retired so one reason I had for not playing has gone away; thinking I had no time or my time would be better spent on other things.
Thanks for reading what I've shared.
