Here at Bizmark opening innovations we are not really committed to finding interesting new ideas to play in the opening. Actually, I'm not really committed to anything. That is because creativity cannot be rushed, so dedication to such a pursuit is not in the spirit of creative play. 

Today's opening prep will be against the english opening. The english is probably my favorite opening due to the fact that you can do pretty much anything as either color, and still obtain an equal position. Funny, isn't it?

No you see, here at O.I. we look for new opening ideas, not lines. While knowing offbeat lines are nice, ideas sell better when you find a new way to play a position that is commonly reached through mainlines. Such as the closed lopez or hedgehog.

I believe Fischer made a lot of money by patenting the "coiled spring" technique in the hedgehog, where black plays Kh8-Rg8-g5-Rg6-Rag8. He also pioneered long queen moves into the center of the board in the maroczy bind.

The name of our company is also misleading! "Opening innovations" actually refers to new ideas from resulting opening positions; thus, it is more of a "middlegame innovation". However, that wouldn't be as catchy.
