Reggie is trying to give good exercise regime to Wesley.
That's good news. Swimming is one of the best exercise. It should give him stamina and perhaps fix his problem of fading in the end.

I have no doubt in my mind that Wes can be the the #1 blitz player in the world if he focuses everything into it, but there is also no doubt that his classical game will suffer by doing So. It's a difficult thing to balance the two. The best thing that you can do is to just focus on your regular game and have some blitz practice several times a day to get you prepared for time scramble. Hopefully, in blitz competitions, you just perform better than the others.
That's why it's very important to have everything that could help you be at your disposal. In Wesley's case, I feel that tactical games, positions with a lot of possibilities give him the advantage, as opposed to solid games which he tends to gravitate to a lot lately.
I think he's maturing and learning more about himself and the game. I'm just excited to see the games in the upcoming WBC... especially his. I hope they give us a good coverage.
That is very correct Iskuba. Wesley himself said that if he gets better at the long game his blitz skills suffer.
