Reading, Chess, Soccer, Football, Writing short stories, and playing madden 26.
What are ya'lls hobbies?
Golf. Chess (recent after 25+ yrs away). Reading a hobby?? For me it's more of a lifestyle. :-)
I'm a musician but it ain't no hobby. :-)
The actual reason I posted this was to give my absolute MUST READS to you young readers after I saw you included reading in your hobbies. :-)
1. Dune Series (Frank Herbert) All 6!! You will/can re-read these many times over in your life. All I can/will say is that there is soooo much these books will make you think about. Religion/philosophy/purpose/after life/past lives/politics and more. :-) Plus they are great adventures. Impeccably written.
2. Foundation series (Asimov)
3. The Long Walk (now a movie) Stephen King.
4. Lord of the Rings (Tolkien) - Yeah you've seen the movie. Read the books!!
I have read all the above approximately 10x@..... No matter how many times you read them they are still great reads and you still enjoy and get something new out of them every time you re-read. They will all entertain you, and make you feel something, which is the signature and purpose of great art of any kind.
My hobbies are:
1. Writing fantasy stories (I want to be a bestselling writer when I grow up)
2. Playing chess, I do it all the time, but mostly as a boardgame, not for GM performance XD
3. Listening to songs. I love the soundtracks of some movies, so I search them on YouTube and just listen to them!
4. Playing videogames. I'm wasting time with Geometry Dash right now, and I've won 4 levels of The Tower and Stereo Madness, Back on Track and Polargeist. You don't have to know these names. They're just hard for me, so I'm proud of myself.
5. Watching movies. I love doing it, and I've already watched some.
6. I play the guitar, but it's not really a hobby XD (we have something in common, @MPBmusic XD!
