Play up to my potential. I can often beat players of significantly higher rating. I most often lose games from a winning position, but I miss something elemental. Learning to look more carefully at the board, and stop seeing only what the immediate mental path wants to see. In other words, stop being so stupid. Awareness.
What are your Goals for 2017 in Chess ?
My goal is to spend some time each week playing through moves found in a book on an actual chessboard.
I want to play a minimum of one hundred games of blitz a month, fifty rapid.
I'd like to earn an elo of 1250 by the end of the year
My goal set on Jan 1 was to have at least one win from 100 different countries So far I have 29 countries. Most at large counties though. My best is Montenegro.
I want to increase my rating to the 1000s so I can be on par with my friends, who are currently in a chess club. I also want to be ready to play chess in tournaments in high school.
I will focus more on live chess. Will try to increase rating for bullet, blitz and rapid. So far bullet has increased by 250 and rapid by 350.
My goal is to keep breaking my previous high since 2008 (@1907 last year - thank God for this) and get to expert and continue upwards!
My goal would be to make use of all the features of chess.com to solidify my foundation and improve me game and crossing the 1500 barrier at the club I play in, the Perth Chess Club.
Hello everyone . What are your goals ?
