Find and spot the weakest piece in your opponent's camp as well as your own, decide to be aggressive or defensive and carry on peacefully and remember to take a deep breath before you make a move and after that check and see if you have overlooked anything, think more than twice and after you find a good move, don't get excited, stay calm and find another and choose the best wink.png

I also learnt that a play on the wing is best replied and answered by a play in the centre!

Don't panic!

When i'm playing as 'White' i must win!

When i'm playing as 'Black' i may lose, but even a draw is a win!

Today i learnt that we shouldn't make a move which would help the opponent make a better move!

Wisely foreseeing the opponent's next move can help us execute a brighter move without doing any harm to our own.

Oftentimes i made a move which resulted in my opponent replying with a move which they wouldn't have had i made a different move and the outcomes were not happy wink.png

Cheers

The first few moves are usually mechanical, but from the 5th move to the 10th or 12th, one has to be so cautious, one slight miscalculation and you have already lost the game, do not hope for your opponent to make a mistake, that's retarded stuff, instead stay alert and take every move quite seriously.

Well, greetings, everyone,

It's been a while, so i hope all is good with you and you are kicking happily happy.png

I came here to add what i consider to be quite an important issue, and that is the fact that we need to find and make moves which limit the choices for our opponent, on the other hand, we shouldn't make moves that in response, the opponent gets to develop their pieces out and about.

I also would like to correct what i said earlier about the opening moves, just above this entry, i said: '. . .  from the 5th move to the 10th or 12th, one has to be so cautious', which now i find to be not quite accurate. Now i believe right from the outset and the very first move one has to be totally alert and considerate.

Have fun and best of happiness for everyone happy.png

Stay wise
