gritty and smooth are textures not taste, spicey may qualify as a taste,lol (eg: like some dirt may taste metallic but feel gritty between your teeth)

now whole numbers taste fruity and fractional numbers tast tart to me. What do you think?

Yes, this is strictly speaking entirely true. I dwelling more on the tactile aspect present with many tastes...anyways, what type of fruity? Sweet? Fleshy/pulpish? I usually just have a sour taste for some things.
