- Chess 960
- Handling multiple move branches in a single game (and in PGN export)
- Better review features (next mistake/last mistake jumps and comments on severity of the error)
- Ability to handle multiple game DBs
In short, if Hiarcs 12.1 for Palm ever makes the jump to an iPhone version, I'll be a very happy camper.
Hiarcs 12.1 is the most feature-rich hand-held chess solution I've ever encountered, and the fact that it runs very usably on inferior hardware still inclines me to believe that a LOT more is possible on iPhone/Touch than any of the current offerings include.
Game analysis with commentary? Support for annotated PGN? Openings training (select an opening, etc.)? Why not?
I´ve used palm chess programs, pocketpc chess programs and I have an idea of how the perfect program should be. Personaly I think we have great GUI on iphone (Shredder), beautifull playing style engines (Glaurung), great puzzles (Zebra)... but for exampley we have no program to manage chess data bases (on pocketpc there many, for example the freeware ceboard).
What do you miss on your pocket?
