knight
What do you think is better: Bishop or Knight?
Depends on the position. Open position, bishops dominate. Closed position, knights are more powerful.

Great answer, @HikaruTwitch
yes,
they fork, they are good in closed are semi closed positions too.
I like knights more than bishops.
they are tricky too!!
Grandmasters prefer the bishops because a well used pair of bishops can just dominate the board. People new to the game will almost always prefer the knight because of its forking ability.
I think if the king is exposed, the bishop pair can dominate black/white. (Whatever side you are)
not really, if the king is exposed, you will use the queen, and the queen + knight is a well reknown deadly combination
bishop is good in endgame while knight is good in middle game
wrong claim
Good knight v Bad bishop is winning for the knight
Bishop pair miiddlegame v Knight pair/Knight+Bishop middlegame usually winning for bishop pair, if the guy with the bishop pair manages to open up the position
I think actually the bishop is more powerful, because it can reach further on the chess board than a knight can. However, knights can accomplish things that other pieces cannot in special circumstances in a game, so all the pieces together make the game of chess as a whole so great.
you can't compare them without context. hikarutwitch had a good answer but I also want to add that in an endgame, if there are pawns on both sides of the board, bishop is better to clean off the other side first then support the side you are attacking. However, if the pawns are together, knight is better for being able to attack both light and dark.
I think knight is more annoying and you can do sneaky tricks but bishops pairs are OP in Endgame so it depends.
