what do you think is better strategic or materialistic chess

Well you know my approach Carl. To play material chess, strategicllyLaughing 

Get the material. Then you can begin trading off! Thats why there is so much tension when 2 aggressive players are entering the middle game. Who will spot a sequence of exchanges that gets them up in material. Of course material chess isnt watertight. You could be getting lured into a trap. But i do somtimes like to avoid exchange chess and just build a defense up then wait for them to over reach and go in when their pieces are out of sync/breath.

But thats one of the wonders of chess, there is no right way to play! Its like 2 peoples psychologies spilled all over the board.

i agree but alot of players who just start off go through the material chess and the older player stick with strategic and its all about balance and how the person psykie is
