As far as I’m aware it doesn’t have to be in 1 session as long as you win the 10 games in a row

I've been told it has to be in one session, though.

You adopt someone legally by beating them. You are allowed to do ANYTHING with said person.

I don't think there are any formal rules.  It's a pretty standard convention that you need 10 consecutive wins, but beyond that I'm not sure if there's widespread agreement.

It's a fairly new term, I think in the last 2-3 years.
