Just play more, play 15/10 or at least 10 minute chess, and analyze all your games. Get familiar with openings and basic checkmates. 🐮 moo
Play loads of puzzles, that's what has helped me the most. They really helped me learn mating, forking and fossiling patterns and that are so common at 700

All of the above including just giving it time. 
Improvement doesn't happen overnight and the difference between good players and bad players is simply the dedication good players have to get to the point they're at. Keep working and you'll back on this post and laugh.
