what opening is better

I always use the reti opening but started using the Kings pawn opening. I also stopped castleing. are these valid reasons why I started winning games

Castling helps keep yoru king safe. (If you still have the 3 pawn on the left/right)

never castle (makes your king weak) and never occupy the center (makes your pawns weak). also dont develop your pieces (Opponent might capture them)

Honestly there are very little instances were castling early is wrong, specially if you know your opening.

true, but you should still wait until you know that the best move is to castle, because if you castle to early your opponent can capitalize on it and make the position hard for you.

That's why I said "specially if you know your opening". It's hard to go wrong with castle.
