What to do with cheaters?

What can you do if your opponents just clearly collude with each other like this?

It's just so frustrating as it happened with me so many times before. Each time usually costs a lot of ratings as cheaters are usually lower rated players...

I don't really have a solution for this, though maybe a report functionality would be nice?!

Cheaters can be reported by selecting Report Abuse under the Help menu.

I think alliances make the game more interesting ... just like in war

 Poor baby!  Are they ganging up on you?

 I don't consider making an alliance cheating, not really.

I couldn't get the video to play but it they are using the "chat" feature to talk, you can stop the chat functionality.

Players colluding is NOT cheating.

It depends.  If you go into a game with a pre-arranged alliance, that's not fair to the other players.  If you temporarily cooperate with other players in a way that makes sense in the game situation, that's just normal reasonable strategy.

How can one have a pre-arranged alliance if your opponents are picked at random??

I watched the video and maybe it is more with chat? but it looks like they did team up against you but that's the possible price you pay with 4 player. I think the more interesting question is why didn't Red do more to help you out? and once you were gone did they team up on Red (which would make sense). It would be interesting to see what the powers to be think of this. Over all (and its been said) if this is prearranged then its really bad if they got in the game and did a little test dance early then built off that teaming up against you two higher point players as far as I'm aware that's part of the game options. Which is what makes this game so fun king of the hill is going to get knocked down much faster and often then regular chess. ratings are going to move like the stock market on a bad or good day.

 This is not cheat, is logic: if someone is weak everyone try to atack him; is part of the strategy

It's natural that your two neighbours will both want to attack you.  It's also natural that the player opposite you will want to stop them killing you, because then he gets caught in the middle.

In blantant cases of colluding, write to battlemind24. Hes the programmer and mod responsible for  4 chess, and is able discipline cheaters.

and of course bobby isnt stupid,   hes not talking about situational alliances that benefit both players that are teaming, those are completely legit.  Cheating collusion is when players team up against a player in a way that would be losing if the players did not KNOW that the other will not exploit their mistakes due to some prior arrangement.   Ie, red and blue team up on yellow and red makes a queen move that would allow blue to capture it freely, but blue doesnt, and yellow gets easily mated/  Its reallllllly easy to win if you team up like this and you have half of a brain,  and completely unfair, and will have to be punished accordingly if 4 player chess is going to work.

if they collude from the very beginning i agree that is cheating.  if they collude after you have become the strongest that is strategy.

BattleMind24 said that teaming up is only allowed if all the players agree. Which has probably never happened.

I know teaming up for strategic reasons is a part of the game. This is a different case though, and it just completely ruined it for me. 

They didn't collude with the chat, because I would disable it right away. It happened very early in the game too, as they had 6 queens in total on the board at the opening. It is very likely that they are friends playing in the same room, or worse, it is the same person playing 2 accounts lol.

Anyways, just want to voice my thought out there to see if anyone is on the the same boat or what are your thoughts on the issue.
