I haven't really been up against any named uncommon openings that I can think of, but I don't like it when my opponent puts his pawns in a stagger formation and makes a lot of waiting moves. As a hippo player, however, I have a love/hate relationship with this strategy. I love playing it, but I hate facing it. Go figure.
