You yourself should realise though that is an incredibly bias sample. If we just consider a list of all players who have ever crossed 2900 the vast majority despise the setup.
What was wrong with Old Standard?

Yes, I know. But I did not say "hey, they support my opinion, I respect them".
No those are the two players I played with for years, I discussed high elo games with them multiple times, and we played the winners bracket of the first W4PCC. Back then it did not end after this, but if the first championship would have been the same as the next two, this would have been the final, making @neoserbian the unofficial first world champion. @hest1805 has been #1 at that time and he is #1 again.
So even if you were right and the majority of high elo players prefer old Standard, we the real OGs who played this game on the highest level for the longest time, who probably know old Standard the very best still prefer Omatamix.

You do still realise this is textbook confirmation bias right? You've neatly omitted Icystun from this list who is miles better than you and Neo for sure he hates it. I am not sure why you think that because you've been around for longer you therefore know better?

Lars is very high on my List of Players I respect. But first, he does not have a very strong opinion about this topic, and second, he can't have, because he hardly plays between world championships.

What about Rojitto, EyeOfTheTiger, carlosgabriel, lazyimp, liquidfyre, suneth, grathieben and myself?

The ones who played the world championship I respect. But those who are crying really loudly are the ones who did not...

I disagree that liquidfyre is a high level player, but they have crossed 2900.

I'm not talking about respect, I'm talking about high rated players who do not like the set up. I don't need your respect, I am simply trying to show you how poorly grounded your assertions are.

Well, I have the strong feeling that in this discussion there is no fully wrong or right. So it's an opinion thing. And I value the opinions of people who I respect more, so it is about respect.
And my assertions a very well-grounded. Engines say that old Standard is the most imbalanced of ALL 16 permutations. Why should we play the most imbalanced one of them all? Just because we are used to it?

@daveborn Did you take a look at all the 15 more balanced positions? Great possibilities and a lot of fun with a more balanced position. Do you enjoy a 5-0 win for red/yellow in teams in world championship match games with old standard?
I’m pretty sure it was the other way around.

What about Rojitto, EyeOfTheTiger, carlosgabriel, lazyimp, liquidfyre, suneth, grathieben and myself?
He omitted me from this list. I guess I don’t deserve it yet.

Well, it is a valid opinion to like Omatomix and it is a valid opinion to like it not.
I like it. Much more than old standard. And other players who also know an awful lot about this game and also have played it on the highest level for years share my opinion.
So yes the opinion of those two people strengthens mine.
That does not mean that Radon is wrong. Omatomix might be boring for some people. But apparently not for those who I personally respect the most and who I think are the most important for this sport.

I like it.
You like it yet you incorrectly spell its name. The setup is based on the findings of the player @omatamix , not omatomix.

Yeah because it's about the game and not the name. I like it, because it's nice to play, not because it sounds so nice.
I wrote it wrong for a very long time, and I am trying to write it right, still, sometimes it happens to me that I write it wrong.

I'm pretty sure the value added to the community from the 4PC streamers far outweighs that of you and Neo Michael.

At this point it's kind of clear it will be impossible to resolve the issues only on the forum. Everybody have is own opinion. Only a proper vote system will determine and end this endless debate. Sure the admins could impose something, but it will inevitably come with resistance to change so probably not suitable.
Let's just hope people will have the right information to make and enlighten decision and not just take 2 seconds by discarting unknown positions.

I'm pretty sure the value added to the community from the 4PC streamers far outweighs that of you and Neo Michael.
I agree. It would be really nice if 4PC streamers would stream 4PC.
Because those who stream 4PC do a big favor to the community as well.
Those who just put 4PC in their twitch name but don't stream it and just complain about the new setup don't ad anything.
Ps.:
If you wanna know my opinion thought through and backed by arguments click here.
But I am done with being reasonable. Now it's time to bash Radon.

You do realize that those very computer evaluations you throw around so often are based on Teams?
Selective perception on the one hand probably, and on the other hand, there are not many players I consider as big.
The two I respect most are @neoserbian and @hest1805. Two real OGs who as always been on the top. Just like me. We all have years of high elo experience in old Standard and still, we prefer Omatamix.
