Honestly I enjoy both equally. I love the movies because they tell a longer story overall, though they are quite short individually. The series I enjoy because it shows the characters in a new way and shows more lore in the story, though it covers less time and many of the characters don't end up in the movies which I was disappointed about. Both have their ups and downs. Though I would highly recommend watching both.
