Loaded question. There are different categories of "best". Magnus Carlsen is clearly the best in classical. Hikaru Nakamura is the best in blitz. I bet there are other categories or ways we could ask the question as well.

Hikaru is not the best blitz player. Magnus has been the world blitz champion since 2017.
There's no "Best". Their rating's are about the same.
