Who would you rather be

I had this position in a game earlier today as black. The material imbalance is white is up two exchanges, but black has an active Bishop pair and is up two pawns and . The engine on lichess.org gives seems to think the positions evaluation is about +0.5 so black has good compensation despite being down material. So who would you guys rather be?

I'd probably take white just for the initiative then.

hmh.. it's hard to say who is better the exchanges are tricky..
I think that it could continue a3 Nc6 Qe4 Qe8 Re1 and it doesn't look so terrible for white.. but sooner or later they will probably need to give one exchange back for a one bishop.. the question is how and when..
I would probably still rather play it as black.. but not that I would like it much.. I feel like these kinds of asymetric positions are painfull for both players..

black as white's king is not safe at all with those bishops plus white rooks can't do anything

White for sure. Blacks queen is inactive whereas whites queen is in a great position. I don’t care about the bishops

Enjoy your childhood.  It only comes around once and then its gone forever.  The older you get the more responsibility.  That isn't a bad thing but childhood is unique like that.
