does not matter - you receive only one alert by email
Why a Chess.com V2 club? Please read...
I'm sorry--I don't understand. You mean you get every alert--every notification of a forum post, every notification of a new note, every notification of a post or move in a Vote Chess game, and your finished game--in the same post?
Sorry for misunderstanding.
1. 'Game over' email is sent to me usually few minutes after the game ended regardless if I am online or not.
2.'Alert' email is sent only if i am not logged in. And it is only the first alert. E.g. 'It is your turn to move with XX' with a note 'There maybe more games'
So when I log into chess.com I can have several alerts, but only one 'alert' email.
I do get e-mails telling me my games have been paused, if my time is running out in a game. I think that's the only kind of message I get.
Is it possible to receive only the "game over" e-mail? Or does the setting make you get the "alert" e-mail, too? (I'm not entirely clear on what counts as an "alert." Forum comment notifications? Vote Chess comment notifications?)

When I click on Home/Profile, I get an "Edit Profile Info" page, but nowhere on it does it say, "Emails and alerts."
No, MindWalk said the emailing of game disappeared years ago and I said I could still received emails in V2
Thanks... naturally, i thought it'd be read and unread material, but whenever i click on a blue subject i usually find i've already read it...
It would be nice if words were used to tell you what things were instead of making you click on them to try to find out. I can read.
hamerkop, that's just not there on mine. A list of chess games, Vote Chess games, messages, group activity--that's what shows up on mine. The same list that's there on my home page.

not really practical if you're a member of a bunch of busy groups...
