Why I believe tourneys should not be separated by rating range

I have heard this idea flow around, so I will try my best to debunk it. We only had 20 people join last tourney. This is enough for it to run actively. With less people in each arena, it should die in a matter of minutes. I have played in many arenas with less than 10 people, and they always go inactive no matter who is in them. Lower rated players do have a chance to win in the tourney, even if there are high rated players. I sometimes get a good tourney placement by just playing it out and trying my best vs others. In the tourney, if I lost every game vs high rated. But won most of my other games. My placement would have been much higher. In summary, our current tourneys are completely equal. And putting them in divisions would only sacrifice activity. Thanks, @LazyDog24.

True, part of the point of the club is to play higher rated players! It’s a good learning experience! And imagine how proud you would be if you won a tournament with 1900+ rated players!

i'd be celebrating if i won a tournament with 1900+ rated players lol

When I saw the title like that written by you, I thought you was gonna do another communist propaganda and everyone going crazily reply to each other
