WE NEED A VETERAN WIDE OUT, WHETHER, IT'S PARRISH, BOULDIN,PARRISH, HOLT WE NEED ADDITIONAL HELP, FOR HESTER, AND OUR FINE TIGHT ENDS?WHAT YOU GUYS  THINK?

DA BEARS

I think the Bears need to get Torry Holt and draft a BIG receiver to develop. With Cutler, Hester will be a very dangerous deep threat. Add that to a "hopefully" useful Bennett and a veteran such as Holt plus whoever the Bears add via the draft this year, the Bears could have a very explosive offense.

hells yeah! we definitely need a great wide receiver. i would really like anquan to come to the team

They need Holt and to use their 2nd round pick on a receiver.  Bennett could be a sleeper. Cutler played with him at Vanderbilt and claims he can bring out the best in him. Devin Hester will never be a great receiver, he doesn't have the hands.

Come on guys, Boldin? It takes material to make that deal and we don't have it. As Eddie said, Bennett is the guy who needs to step up. He has had a year to learn the system and was Cutler's go to guy in Cutler's senior year. Bennett is my pick to explode. I believe the Bears will go with a big receiver in the 2nd or 3rd...but he will be developmental. Maybe we see Olsen motioning out there more often. He is a match-up nightmare and will become Cutler's go-to guy. I would take Holt as a 2-3 year fix.

All these things are not gonna get the Bears deep into the playoffs...pass rush! Is Marinelli the guy to get production out of this line??!!

In reality, I wish that we hadn't traded Berrian. He had a great year last year. As far as Hester goes, I think that we need to give him one thing to do and make him stick to it. When he has multiple responsibilities he screws things up.

Berrian wasn't a trade, my friend. The purple butt-pirates offered him over 6 mil a year for about 6 years. I liked Berrian, but he is worth about half of that. Now the Bears could have kept him off the market with a franchise tag, but that would have cost nearly 9 mil for one season.

...and the good thing about Berrian leaving? The Bears picked up a 3rd round compensation pick. Without that pick, they probably don't offer the Broncos their regular 3rd rounder in the Cutler deal...which means the Bears probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the deal.

it would be awesome to see the bears pick up HOLT but im glad they got CUTLER and PACE. We'll probally just draft a wideout tho like KENNY BRITT

AND I THINK BENNETT IS GOING TO HAVE A COMING OUT PARTY THIS YEAR!

And the rest of them.  Especially Hester!  I bet those guys are practicing as much as possible to get ready for Cutler.

The Bears offered the 2nd round pick for Bolden, Cards didn't bite.

Berrian's three good plays a week were heavily overshadowed by his costly flubs and dogging it on a ton of plays (especially across the middle). Holt is good, but Boldin is a half a step behind Fitz on the talent charts.

Angelo has come out and said he is "watching" the Plaxico Burriss situation. What this means, I don't know. What I do know, is that I would rather go into the season with what we have than have another idiot come on the team (takes weapon into club...illegal, shoots self while playing with it...discharging a weapon in club...illegal and all the contractual issues the Giants and Steelers have had with the guy.). If it looks like sh*t and smells like sh*t...it probably is.

two years ago we were second overall in dropped passes.  hell ya we need wide outs.  by the way.  the team that came in first place in dropped passes??  the New york Giants.  they went on to win the super bowl that year.. so who knows??
