What's that?
Will Reinforcement Chess come out?

No, this was posted about earlier. Basically, as soon as a piece is taken, it respawns on its home square. If that square is occupied it waits until it becomes unoccupied. Respawning is automatic and doesn't take a turn.

I do support Reinforcement chess, but maybe with some modifications. What if, if a piece's respawn square is occupied the turn it is taken, it doesn't respawn. This adds some extra strategy, and a way to permanently get rid of pieces. Otherwise, it is hard for one player to gain an advantage because the material always equalizes at one point.

That's an interesting idea. It feels quite specific to me though. my idea is to make respawning cost a turn. something like that maybe? that would then give good winning chances to the side with the initiative, i think
With your idea, it would definitely favor the side who puts pieces on the spawning squares first. So it could make it interesting like a piece race to the back-rank
I like that idea, though it's up to the chess.com devs to implement if they want. All in all, I think this variant deserves a solid +1.

Love it.
I think you can't capture a piece, and then move the piece covering the square on your next turn because you can fall in check.
I was just wondering if Reinforcement Chess will come out. Thanks!
