original concept but I don't like that people can just turtle to flag others... (red move queen to k3, rook to j3, and premove shuffle the other rook from h3 to i3) maybe give each player a knight on the back rank or something to stop turtling

I realised that but thought that checkmate and takeover so have more rooks to attack the camping player helps,did not see the timing tho...
still,45 secoonds should be enough

actually more rooks does not help as much as you'd think since if you spend a few turns and rooks trading into a mate, the other turtling players will come out of their shells and mate you, so you need to leave a rook or two behind as well, but that makes it impossible to checkmate anyone in the first place...
