Before the tournament began, I predicted that either Germany or Argentina would win (honest, I did!) and I'm even more confident after last night's games. I'm a bit disappointed that they have to play each other so soon, especially as my prediction will have half the chance of becoming reality, hah. Still, what a game it will be - the 2 best teams in the world cup (based on performance so far) facing off. I can't wait for Germany v Argentina and I believe that the winner of that game will go on to with the Cup.

I'm supporting Germany now that Oz are out (in spite of the fact that they thrashed us!). I like the country and its people, and the team play some beautifully creative Fußball; as they demonstrated last night.

Yeah, Brazil certainly made their case last night. They weren't very impressive in the group stages, but after last night they really look like they can go on to win it. My money's still on the winner of the Ger-Arg match though. Surely it'll be either a Brazil-Argentina or Brazil-Germany final.
