World Mind Games

Who here is registering for the online World Mind Games tournament series on chess.com? I am. I also registered for an account on the World Mind Games website. I'll probably never make it to the second round, but I am still excited.

I'm trying (er, I mean, participating) too 

I just finished a World Mind Games tournament- I probably finished 15th place or lower in the tournament (out of about 20 participants), and that was due to a one-point bye as I was the lowest rated player by far. (I haven't played 10|0 in a while, but I used to play it a lot.) I lost all of the four games I played. Two of them were just quick checkmates, but I played well in the other two games. I'll post the good games later... FM penguingm1 and at least three NM's were in the tournament, so I had no chance anyway. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to be in a Mind Games tournament with others closer to my rapid online chess rating, but it was fun to compete in the tournament anyway.

Yeah, I participated in one and there were too many 2000+ players for me to have a chance. Besides, los of people will get some sort of "help" so this tournament is pretty much useless for us non-titled players.

I finished another World Mind Games tournament with my best score so far: 2/6 and placing 12th overall out of more than 30 people. The two games I won were against players with much higher ratings than me, so I got a lot of rating points.

I finished 18th in a World Mind Games Tournament today having won one game. It was a very good game (I came back in the endgame), so I've posted it here:
