For reference, a kid is anyone 18 or younger

(was gonna make it a forum discussing playing styles but had no time so made it this question for now)

Kid. It feels better for me than playing an adult for some reason, like you’re more familiar.

I kinda feel the same way too about playing kids. But when the opp is stronger than me, I really hope it's an adult and not a kid!

true lol. when they're a kid, you start comparing yourself to them.

actually it's for a different reason:

the vast majority of kids absolutely love to attack, and I am the minority who love to strangle the opp with positional chess by restricting them heavily. Stronger kids will just be monster attackers who will immediately butcher you as soon as possible, and I am very bad at finding defences so... ye.

However, most adults do not attack. Because of this, in many cases I can actually be better (sometimes even winning) against them because I do not face as many attacks!
