Errrrr what is that on the queen and y is it upside down???
wtf

looks like a French fleur-de-lis. Not sure why it's there. Maybe some celebration of WWII Victory day in France, which is normally celebrated on May 8. Just a guess.

Thats just how the game works Chess960
ik its chess960 but im askin WHAT IS ON THE QUEEN TOP LEFT
someone see's something they never have saw before "What the!!!! I must get to know what this thing is and why it is there. Another person "Dude literally just marking the royal piece and can be ignored". Yet another dude "Then why is it on the queen?". Next dude "That is the true question!" Final dude "We are some smart bunch if it ain't broke don't complain".
LOL.

so i sort of know whats going here, it shows exactly where those symbols should be and which way they were facing if u were white (or in 4 player variants, red), someone messed up the coding so it doesn't change for black (or blue, yellow, or green)

It doesn't make any sense - all players in Chaturaji have it and for all of them their King moves the symbol that is on Red's King... Just get rid of it already

And replace it with the 4pc symbol; a lighter shade box.
Variants should not be destroying 4pc culture, or else we will demand that we should not switch to the variants server.
You think that we want all that excitement... Just to get deported off to a wasteland?
The shaded indicator still exists and works.
What I have noticed about the new one:
- When spectating a game, it does not move, remaining on the square it was on at the time the game was loaded, until the spectator grabs a king and tries to move it.
- When playing or analyzing from Black's perspective, it is upside-down and on the opposite square (in the picture above, the
's indicator is from the
, and vice versa).
